That answers itself.Marlins – If Villar shows he can’t play CF, they will need 2B open for Villar to play and then trade him.Cubs – Kipnis was better than Scooter in 2019 at half the cost in 2020.Brewers – They already signed too many players without a definitive role. he is a one trick pony with the bat, does not offer value anywhere else, bad defender, runner, who came off a putrid year with the bat.

Mom stays with the kids. I may know one who’s available.Red Sox – He’s proven to be much better than Jose Peraza or Michael Chavis. He should be able to make the decision he wants without having to justify himself to any of us.As far as the “price of love,” I imagine we all have an amount of money we’d take in exchange for being away from our families for some period of time. He’s already made over 19 million. But my issue is with this ongoing excuse by these babies who state a need for more time with family. This explains the owners’ desire to fight tooth and nail in depressing salaries at every turn, especially for younger players.

Was cool seeing an MLB’er having fun and interacting like that.I went to a Red’s game a few years back and he would discuss replay reviews with the fans in the bleachers.Does it bug anyone else that they didn’t list the teams he played on in order?Looks like they used levels of success to come up with their order…that works by me…The casual fan might only remember his Reds tenure, hence lead billingI have no problem with him putting a high value on his services. i know i dont have kids and a wife so my opinion doesnt matter here, but ive seen enough of people talking about wishing they didnt have to see their families. If they are in a restaurant don’t bother them until they go outside to leave. I’d only go back and work at the buffet I worked at in high school for $100/hr… that doesn’t make me at a buffet worth that much.I’m shocked. Despite Locastro’s elite speed and base-running ability, I would have to think Gennett is still the better hitter.White Sox – Why pay $5-mil for a platoon player coming off an awful 2019? And total hours spent working out/training/playing is like 5-7 hours a day. Either admit you couldn’t get an offer, you are washed up phydically, or you don’t really like playing anymore. But for older ballplayers who don’t need the money to survive (which is any of them who did any level of planning)… the calculation is just whether or not everything else in their life is worth going through another year of grinding again. One of many reasons they should move to Charlotte and/or San Antonio and not have to share the market.I have no issue with Gennet retiring, I never understood why guys like Bautista continue scrambling around for pennies. That said, is he willing to play for $5M, but not $1.5M? And most agents will suggest a 1-year deal to bounce back and then go for a multi-year deal. Not a lot of teams will want to gamble on him and give him a guaranteed spot.I like Scooter, but he’s a huge question mark given his inconsistencies on a year to year basis.Sounds like the rangers could use a lefty in there somewhere. Most importantly if they lose, they are still allowed to laugh and be happy after the game if they can be happy, let them be happy. Good for him.If he wants to spend time with his family so badly then he should not consider playing for any price. They are absolutely out.If he dropped his price and could play multiple positions he’d be on a team. You have a lot of fans in this league!Baltimore comes to mind. He’s made nearly $20M, so he has the ability to determine what’s an acceptable salary. And sit at home the rest of his life.Phil “The Scooter” Rizzuto ( A Hall of Famer and 1950 AL MVP) says helloScooter from the Muppets (and Muppet Babies) is more famous than any of them.Who is Scooter Ganett? Those two have potential but Gennett is still likely better — right now, anyway.
