It was delicious.have not been there in a while, OK in the summer, eating on the terrace outside, previously had some disappointing meals.Having dined at The Basil Leaf on a number of occasions, it saddens me to note that my last two experiences were below their usual standards. The choice of the restaurant was by the accident. I ate there on back to back days. We set out to provide great tasting asian fusion in a beautiful atmosphere. I sat outside since it was a nice day and indoors seemed noisy and packed with happy eaters. I was told they didn’t take reservations BUT if we came around 6:30...We tried Paisanos first and had to leave when the salad was served. The recipes are diverse, and the styles are appropriate to the regions from which the recipes are coming. The penne a la vodka pasta was under-cooked both times (yes, I ordered the same thing because I love...just don't know where to start.. we made a reservation at this restaurant as it was close to a relative's house and we wanted to meet them for dinner.
