Two weeks later, Black Yoshi is shown to have broken down over Delilah leaving him. Black Yoshi tells him he doesn't have it and Brooklyn decides to sell Black Yoshi's X-Box to get his money back. Black Yosh would  drop out of fourth grade because Mrs. Ipkiss told him she did not want to teach him to read. 3. Black Yoshi tells Mario it is just a mask but Mario doesn't believe him and runs off. Mario freaks out and hears the doorbell ring to finds yet another package.

It then cuts to a dark room where Cookie Monster is tied up and Brooklyn is interrogating him for his money. The closest thing Black Yoshi has to a best friend is Although he is usually a villain all the time, he is an anti-hero on rare occasions. He is known for constantly demanding people money (usually Mario), and even when told no, he will keep begging. He also has a tendency to lie and steal a lot and has no qualms committing crimes and doing other horrible things that rebel against society.

However, he does not show any remorse for what he did and even when Mario and Rosalina suggested him to apologize to her for hitting her, he says he will keep hitting her if she won't make her a sandwich, indicated he is not a good person at all. Brooklyn asks Mario where he sent Black Yoshi and Mario to check the TV. He has no capacity for empathy, and when someone refuses to buy him something, he will commit any stupid and heinous act beyond belief, which usually results in serious consequences for other people. Black Yoshi and Goodman are arch-enemies. He would be one of the many Yoshis to keep him company as a kid, he mentioned during his childhood, they made popsicles out of everything, he once remembered his mother, got her shoe and mixed a piece of popsicle with it and made him eat it, while his dad was working.

Mario reluctantly agrees on the condition that he would never ask him to buy the new Call of Duty game each year.

When Junior kept ruthlessly insulting everyone on Call of Duty, Black Yoshi blasted Junior's Xbox and took his Thomas as punishment for what he did. Black Yoshi asks what Mario is doing in the bathroom, and Mario shows him a ring. A week passes and Black Yoshi is playing CoD when Mario brings Brooklyn in for his money.
